Dogs aren't born knowing right from wrong, or what is good or bad behaviour.
So if you haven't trained them, don't blame them!
"There is never just one way to train a dog or puppy and a confident German Shepherd needs to be handled differently to a shy, little CockerPoo. The important thing however is to be fair, fun and consistent with your dog. If you put the time and effort into your training you will enjoy a lifetime of rewards with your dog, if not then you will always feel like your dog's got the upper hand...or paw!

No training classes for a couple of weeks while Mike takes a break. We'll be back to normal in July with outdoor classes at Marbury Park, indoor KC Puppy Foundation Courses, and the new KC Good Citizen Dog Training courses. All dogs are welcome, please join us!
Fabulous results from our last KC Good Citizen Dog Training Course, 16 passes in total at Bronze, Silver & Gold Levels!! It's great to see so many happy owners enjoying the company of their happy, well socialised, confident dogs. No training class at Marbury Park this Easter Saturday, we'll have a group dog walk instead. Meet on the training field at 10.30am, regulars and visitors welcome. No charge but we will be doing a collection in aid of Kennel Club's Charitable Trust.

The blue green algae is really bad at Marbury Park this month. Do not let your dogs swim in the mere, they could get very sick.
On the first Sunday of each month Mike will be hosting dog training feature sessions at The Whitegate Station House Cafe. The aim is to support the community services offered by the cafe, as well as raising funds for the Kennel Club Charitable Trusts. First session is May 1st - join us from 10.30am - 12noon.

We are all experiencing huge changes in routine and this can be very unsettling for us and our dogs. I’d love to know how you and your dogs are coping with it and any key issues you’re experiencing or things you’re doing to try to keep them entertained?
You may have just got a puppy and are wondering how to socialise and train them? Or perhaps you’re concerned about how they’ll adjust when things go back to ‘normal’ and you’re not at home with them all the time?
