Natalie & Oliver (Cockerpoo)

We had a one-to-one session with our 10mth Cockerpoo who has lots of energy and no training classes due to lockdown. The session was fantastic and well worth the money, we have never seen our dog so calm and well behaved after 1.5 hours of Mike’s time. He gave us lots of tips and training to do at home and explained everything very clearly for us to understand. Can’t thank Mike enough, very professional and COVID safe. I would recommend to everyone to try a 121 session during lockdown, or indeed at any other time!

Contact Us

  • How can I house train my new puppy?

House training a puppy involves creating a consistent schedule for feeding, walks, and bathroom breaks.

It’s also helpful to use crate training, which can help manage their bathroom habits and provide a safe space for them.

  • Why does my puppy chew on everything and how can I stop it?

Puppies chew on everything due to teething and exploring their environment.

Providing appropriate chew toys and teaching them what is acceptable to chew can help. Consistency and positive reinforcement are key.

  • How do I socialise my puppy to prevent fearfulness and aggression?

Proper socialisation involves exposing your puppy to various environments, people, and other animals in a positive way.

Start with controlled, calm introductions and gradually increase exposure to new experiences.

  • What can I do about my puppy's separation anxiety?

Separation anxiety can be addressed by gradually training your puppy to be comfortable when alone.

Start with short periods of separation and gradually increase the time. Providing toys and a comfortable space can also help.

  • What are the essential health considerations for my new puppy?

Ensuring your puppy is vaccinated on schedule, treating for parasites, and maintaining a proper diet are crucial.

Regular vet visits will help monitor your puppy’s health and address any issues early.

  • How much exercise does my puppy need?

Puppies have high energy levels and need regular exercise to stay healthy and prevent behavioural issues.

Daily walks, playtime, and mental stimulation through interactive toys are important.

  • How much time should I dedicate to my new puppy?

Puppies require a significant time commitment for supervision, training, and socialisation.

Ensuring you have enough time to dedicate to your puppy’s needs is crucial for their development and well-being.
