About the club
Dogs may be man’s best friend, but the key to this companionship is a happy, sociable and well-trained dog – and an owner who understands their dog’s needs and behaviour. The Well Heeled Dog Club isn’t only a dog training school; it’s a community dog club for dog lovers and owners. We have two objectives: to help dog owners develop a great relationship with their dog through fun and informal yet structured training sessions, and to benefit the community by having dogs that are well-behaved and well-socialised with each other.
The club is actively involved in all sorts of community events throughout Cheshire. We’re active supporters of FoAM (Friends of Anderton & Marbury), we arrange free group dog walks around Marbury Park on Bank Holiday weekends and we help local community groups to raise funds throughout the year with dog shows, training displays and fun agility events.
All activities are run and managed by members of the club and we’re always keen promote responsible dog ownership whenever we can. So, if you’re planning an event please get in touch.

Stu & Maisie (Labrador)
“Thanks for all your excellent advice, Mike. I’d always thought Maisie was a ‘difficult’ dog to train but I don’t anymore. With your help I now understand what makes her tick and how to get the best from her with dog-friendly training techniques. We’re both enjoying the classes – and both learning a lot!"
